THANKS. Can you clarify one more situation for me??


Can't remember the opposition wrestler (highly ranked). Referee whistled and wrestlers came to the middle of the mat. The opponent was in the top position. He showed the referee his hands (thumb to thumb, fingers tip to tip).....I've seen this done in freestyle matches if that helps. The top wrestler was in a standing position, our wrestler down on hands/knees. He placed his hands in that configuration on our wrestlers back. He THEN pushed our wrestler away and immediately attacked before our wrestler could make a half turn. Can you help explain?? What is that hand signal's name or what "starting" position is that called???? APPRECIATE.
